TIMELINE:
I will be completing pet portraits on a first come, first serve basis from April through May. I will give you a more concise timeline upon purchase. Please understand that I am currently moving to a new city & will be experiencing some periods of upheaval, however, all portraits are slated for completion by June 1st.
IMPORTANT:
Buyer will be asked to provide a .zip file of photos of their pet, showing as many expressions and views of the animal as possible. A brief bio or information about their pet's endearing quirks/favorite toys is very helpful and will ensure a personal touch to your portrait.
I will do a fairly detailed digital study of your portrait based on your photos and allow the buyer a chance to weigh in on feedback. After one round of feedback, I will proceed to paint in Acrylagouache.
Buyer will be notified upon completion and photo of finished work will be emailed for approval. Small changes & tweaks will be considered at this time. Upon approval, final portrait will be shipped!
Your painted portrait is one of a kind and will not be reproduced or sold in print form. I want you to be happy and to know that you own a special treasure! I do reserve the right to use the final portrait for self-promotion online and portfolio work, however.
As much as I love kids, I cannot add a human character to your portrait. I don't enjoy drawing people as much, and getting a proper likeness of a real person is often a tedious endeavor for me. Trust me, you want me to draw you an animal. My humans are ghastly.
